Let’s be real for a moment.

There are times when it’s hard to stay positive.

When it feels like the world is heavy, and the people or situations you counted on let you down.

When someone you trusted does something you’d never imagine in a million years.
When world events leave you feeling unsettled, sad, or just plain defeated.

We’ve all been there. And sometimes, it’s not just one thing—it’s a pile-up of moments, news, and emotions that make you question everything.

But here’s what I’ve learned (and continue to remind myself):

We can’t control everything that happens around us, but we can choose how we respond.

So, how do we stay positive when it feels tough?

💛 Give yourself permission to feel. You don’t have to pretend everything is okay when it’s not. Acknowledging the hard moments is the first step to moving through them.

🌿 Find your anchors. Whether it’s a walk in nature, a quiet cup of tea, or a chat with someone who truly understands—go back to the things that bring you back to yourself.

🧠 Limit the noise. Protect your mental space. That might mean stepping back from the news or social media for a while and focusing on what’s right in front of you.

🌟 Reframe your focus. Even on the hardest days, there’s usually one thing—just one—that brings a bit of hope. A kind word, a small win, a deep breath. Start there.

🤝 Lean into community. You don’t have to navigate the tough times alone. Whether it’s your family, your team, your faith, or our amazing rdhu community—there’s always someone in your corner.

This week, if you're feeling off-track, I want you to know you’re not alone.

Let’s take a moment to pause, recalibrate, and choose to find the light—however small it may seem.

You’ve got this. We’ve got this.

Wishing you a week of grace, connection, and small steps forward.
💛
Warmly,
Kathleen
