Beth and I had a great conversation with Tabetha Magnuszewski, RDH, who works with Ivoclar Vivadent, this morning.

We had a planning session for our next 'The RDH View' show which will be aired Friday, September 11th.

The show will be called...Are you a Leader?

With so much uncertainty in the air, there can be so many mixed emotions and messages happening now. We especially witness this through a variety of dental Facebook Groups where there seems to be a lot of venting going on.

There are some offices that are working cohesively and working as a team.

While others are with a leader who isn't leading. They are dictating.

It's tough to work in a practice that operates under poor leadership and dictates the way it's going to be. Especially since we are a regulated profession, but at the same time many work as an employee where we have to conform to what is going on in the office.

It's time to step back, reclaim your strength and have your voice heard. Have your voice heard with your employer and with your clients.

And remember, sometimes, some leaders don't see things the way you might. We all have our own perception on how things are going and operating. But often, these conflicts can be resolved by communicating how you and others are feeling and work together on how best the practice can move forward.

We work so well as a team. We need to have our voice heard. We need to put our clients first and offer them the best standard of care possible.

On the next The RDH View, we plan to dive into this issue further. We look forward to sharing this discussion with you and at the same time we will be looking at treatment modalities to offer your clients that will be a win-win for all involved.

So be a leader and invite your team to join us as well!

The will be a free event. The link to register will be in next week's On-Track-Tuesday, in the meantime, Save the Date! Friday, September 11th at 12pm EST.

Kindest regards,

Kathleen
