It's difficult to believe that we are nearing the end of April 2021! Another year is flying by.
I am trying my best to live in the present, to be mindful and do something that makes me improve every day. Whether it is reading a book or doing some sort of fitness.
It's hard to stay positive every day. It's hard to stay motivated when we are in another stay-at-home order.
Keeping a positive mindset and doing something for YOU is so important.
I started riding a bike again this week, which I haven't done in MANY years. I don't think the saying is true when it comes to remembering how to do something "It's like riding a bike!" Because I feel like I had to relearn all over again!
I must say though, I do enjoy the short bike rides that I am taking and plan on doing this every day until I feel 100% confident again. I think I am experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from my accident that happened 1.5 years ago now where I slid down our ramp at our cottage on ice and broke my leg and shattered my ankle. Just as I was healing we were hit with the pandemic, so I have been home since Thanksgiving 2019.
Feels surreal.
Time is going by so quickly so I really try to focus on each day and make it a unique day.
Like I mentioned earlier, taking time and doing something for you is essential.
If you have ever read the book The Slight Edge, it is all about making small incremental changes in your life every day to help you be a better version of yourself so that you can continue to grow. Growth = Happiness.
I write down the 3 things I need to do everyday to help me continue to grow personally and professionally. It has helped me enjoy this past year.
I hope you are taking a part in the (April) Oral Health Month Challenge. I think this is something that can motivate you every day to make a positive impact on your client's oral and overall health. It's a small incremental change that will have such a great impact.
Perhaps you can set a goal for yourself for the next week and a half left of this challenge to convert 2 clients a day from manual to power.
If you have any questions about this, please feel free to reach out to us. More information and the tracking sheet is found below.
