The phones were forwarded to my cell over the last few days and I had the pleasure of speaking with many of our members over the long weekend!
I had a conversation with one of our members on Saturday.
This is a similar conversation that I have had many times over the years.
This particular member is paralyzed by fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear to start. Fear over our Quality Assurance Requirements.
I always like to encourage people to face their fears. Once you face them, you will find that there really was nothing to worry about.
Procrastination leads to fear. The discomfort of not knowing something leads to fear. Fear leads to a state of anxiety, sleepless nights and failure to start.
Procrastination is the result of avoidance, and both the result of and driver of anxiety. Anxiety associated with procrastination continues to fester and grows over time.
If you are fearing something, I encourage you to write down what are you fearing and ask yourself why? What are the first 3 steps that you can take to help you overcome your fear? How will you feel once you have conquered your fear? How realistic is this fear? Does it deserve the attention you are feeding it?
I use to have a fear of speaking in front of people. I couldn't speak in a classroom when I was in high school. I had to hire an educator when I owned D-Sharp Dental Instruments to present my instrument sharpening courses. I faced my fear and now, gosh darn, I present for a living and have spoken in front of an audience of 2200 people!
Face your fear. It is liberating. Don't let anything hold you back.
Our Quality Assurance program can cause so much fear and frustration. It is not necessary. You can do it. Perhaps you just need a coach. If you need help with your QA requirements, please do not delay, reach out to us and let's get you started today! This is our specialty.
