I did an impromptu video with Dr. Uche Odiatu this morning regarding his upcoming Virtual day with us! Uche was taking a walk in the park before going to his office, I messaged him and he said, sure, let's get on and record.

I love this kind of spontaneity!

We didn't wait for the perfect moment to record. Uche didn't have to be home in front of his computer. We didn't have a planned script. We were like, let's go on and do this!

As dental hygienists, and most of us being in the Type A category, we often feel that everything has to be perfect before we put it out into the world!

We need to stop worrying about putting ourselves out there waiting for that perfect moment, the perfect timing, the perfect idea, the perfect blog, the perfect video, the perfect article, the perfect post, or waiting to complete a project or program before sharing it with others!

Nothing will ever be perfect! Ever. You will always find areas that you won't be happy with!

If you are waiting until something is perfect to put it out into the world you may find you will never do it.

Nothing has to be perfect. Get it started. Share with others. Over time, you will improve. But if you don't put it out there now, when are you going to start?

Don't wait for the perfect anything and just get out there!
