I love this time of year as it gets me in an excited mood, like the countdown is on to get what I need to get done and achieve my goals that I have set out for myself for 2021!

Whether it is personal or professional, the countdown is on! We have two months remaining in 2021!

This is a great time to reflect on the goals you set out for yourself.

Did you write them down? Do they need to be adjusted? You must write them down! A goal statement must be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Timely). Studies have shown that if you don't write them down there is less chance of you successfully achieving your goal. It's like it did not or could not happen!

Kind of like Documentation, if it isn't recorded it didn't happen!

We have two months left, so here's what I did this past Sunday so I can Finish 2021 strong!

1. Reviewed my current goals and adjusted where I needed to.

2. I turned a couple of my goals into smaller ones (bite size pieces so that they are attainable) with an end date of November 30th and then again December 31st (rather than just stating by the end of 2021), so I have milestone that I would like to reach by the end of each month.

3. Set out a daily action plan on what I need to do (and NOT do!) to make these goals happen this year!

The action plan needs to be reviewed daily and list 3 things you can do that day to make achieving your goal a reality!

For achieving professional QA goals...

The last 3 months are always a busy time of year for us as we have some of our Albertan members working on their CE cycle ending in October, and then many who are on an end-of-the-year cycle (with some are scrambling last minute as life gets in the way)!

We have lots of great courses coming up that are not only educational but also inspirational and motivational. If you are registered in a province where you must have layered learning, we always include these in our courses.
