What a response we had to our Crest & Oral B rdhu RDH CE Relief Program!
Our plan was to run registration from May 4 - June 1 with the limit of accepting 1000 participants.
Well, following our Webinar on May 4th and the Big Announcement email, we surged well past that number (and we are so excited to have so many of you on with us!)
So many people registered so quickly, we chose to accept those registrants but now must stop further registration.
But for those that didn’t get in during this time, please don't worry, we are looking into a possibility of Relief 2.0.
We don't want to disappoint anyone, but the live courses can only handle 1000 people at a time and are looking for ways to accommodate the extra participants.
If you were/are interested, leave this with us and we can see if we can open it up to more people.
If you would like to go on the waitlist, so that we understand how many more would like to take part of the Relief Program, you will find the link below.
To those who are registered, thank you. We are so grateful and so pleased that we are able to offer such an initiative.
We like all of you being in our world :)
We acknowledge you for continuing to learn during these unprecedented times.
We encourage you to join in when you can. Stay connected to your profession as much as possible, as we are all in this together.
We feel scared at times and uncertain what our new normal will look like.
But know this... we will get through it.
It will work out.
You need to keep a positive mindset and ride this wave.
You will come out in the new norm and you will get use to it.
Looking back in 5 years time we will wonder how we every practiced pre-COVID days.
Our dental world will change and I truly believe that now is the time that the public will value their oral health. They will no longer see dental hygiene as just getting their teeth cleaned but rather as a much needed medical appointment.
Now is the time to continue educating your clients/patients and the public about a much needed essential service.
If you missed my webinar on 'COVID-19 Strategies on Nourishing Relationships', I have been asked to present this with the Women in Dentistry.
That invitation will be sent out shortly to join in.
Many who have already joined me on this webinar have written me or called me to let me know how excited they were to learn such strategies and just hope that their office will listen and participate.
Sometimes it's just easier and better to have the DDS or owner of your clinic join in and listen/learn for themselves.
I remember when I had one of my Breakthrough Blueprints programs at rdhu and an office from up north came down to join in.
Our member compelled their team to attend.
Because of the distance, they stayed overnight in a hotel.
The DDS reluctantly came but half way through the presentation she was messaging everyone on how amazing some of the strategies were and how excited she was to get back and start to implement!
We all need to do these things together.
We need to work together on strategies to staying connected with our teams and with our clients/patients. Now is not the time to disappear from our clients and not have them hear from us.
We are essential. You are essential. What we do is essential. It is times like these that allow us to reflect on ourselves, who we are, what we do and why we do it.
Remember your why. Remember why you got into dental hygiene. Remember why you joined the practice you are in. Remember your patients/clients that you have encouraged and helped make them get healthy.
They need you now. They need to be reminded to keep up with their oral health for their overall health and prevention of disease.
Thank you for reading. Please find info below for what is coming up and have a great week ahead!
Thank you for being a part of rdhu!
Kindest regards,
Kathleen
