Last night we started Part 1 of 3 of the live streaming for the 'Essentials for Documentation' (CDHO Guidelines) course.

This program is so well put together by Anna Louise Tolan. She includes many extra resources to help with what we like to call ‘layering of learning’.

As you know, one of the things that makes rdhu unique is we strive to be the easy button for all things Quality Assurance/Portfolio/Continuing Education/Professional Development related.

We want to ensure that we help those dental hygienists from across the country who have to maintain a learning portfolio by helping them create a goal statement that is SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely ie complete within a year). We want to show you how to enter your activities, how to document your learning and translate that to implementation, to make a positive change within your practice.

So I recorded my screen with me entering Recordkeeping and Documentation as a goal into my SMILE portal and I shared it with all registered just now.

It gives all of us great pleasure, at rdhu, to help you every step of the way to help you achieve your QA Requirements.

If you practice in a province where you need goal statements and layering of learning, please reach out to us. We can help you!

If you practice in a province where you need to submit your CE hours, I truly believe that you can use some of the strategies that have been implemented into our Learning Portfolio to really help transform your dental hygiene practice.

We include an Activity Page in all rdhu courses and I wanted to share this with you. You will find it below. This is a great record for you to reflect on key items that you have learned and help you plan on what you can implement into your practice to make positive change happen.

Please feel free to use this for any and all CE courses that you participate in.

If you have any questions, please let me know!

For those of you who will be joining us tonight, we are so excited for Beyond the Pandemic! If you would like to register please do ASAP. Please see below.

Enjoy your week! Thank you for reading and for being a part of rdhu.

Please find info below for what is coming up and have a great week ahead!

Kindest regards,

Kathleen
