So…how are you doing though this pandemic?

How are you handling all the changes and all the uncertainty?

We have been receiving so many different messages from our members.

While some are fine, adjusting to the changes and doing well.

Others are feeling understandably frustrated by all the uncertainty.

Many have yet to return to practice while others are on a reduced work-schedule.

If you are feeling anxious and nervous, it's time to change what you are focusing on.

No matter where we are in our practice, now is the time that we have to dig deep and remind ourselves why we got into this wonderful profession.

We need to focus on our 'why'? Why did we choose the profession of Dental Hygiene?

If we can stay focused on our why, it will help us to continue on in the midst of all this uncertainty.

We chose dental hygiene because we care. Because we want to make a difference. We want to contribute. We want to help make and keep people healthy.

Remembering your why and looking for ways to work in this new norm can be an exciting time, if you change your focus.

It's time to reclaim your strength!

We have to take what we have learned during this pandemic and ensure that we practice differently.

We can't continue as we were in the past.

We are completing the 3-part series tonight about 'Beyond the Pandemic" How Dentistry & Hygiene Emerge Stronger Together', with Dr. Tim Donley, Beth Ryerse and Dani Botbyl. We have received such positive response to this learning series and we can't wait to hear how many of you will implement what you have learned into your practice.

Anna Louise Tolan will be announcing her upcoming webinar any day now! She will be sharing her experience over the last month with being back to clinical practice and always has helpful tips to share.

Beth Parkes and myself are also putting together a program that we hope will inspire you! We will be sharing some strategies to help make your day more efficient and help your clients achieve optimal health.

We have a lot of great things in the making! Please find what is scheduled at this time below.

Thank you for reading and for being a part of rdhu.
