With the patient attrition rate in most dental practices ranging between 10-20%, it's crucial to have a proactive strategy to attract new patients. Relying solely on word of mouth isn't enough.

One effective approach is to focus on specific patient profiles and design targeted campaigns for each type. By investing effort upfront, these campaigns can become self-sustaining and be repeated multiple times a year.

Consider the type of campaign you would like to run. For example, if you want to promote laser treatments, identify the patient profiles that would benefit most from these treatments. Create a campaign to attract these new patients while also encouraging your existing clients to explore more laser treatment options.

Promoting your services consistently is key. When patients see that you offer treatments for various conditions through your email communications and social media postings, they are more likely to be receptive when you introduce these options during their visits. This familiarity can make a significant difference in their willingness to consider new treatments.

It's a great idea to meet with your team and discuss the patient profile types you would like to attract to your practice. This is the foundation of an effective marketing strategy. Stay tuned for more helpful tips in next week's On-Track Tuesday!
