Today, ultrasonic instrumentation goes far beyond the uncomfortable removal of calculus.   Effective removal of biofilm is critical in the fight against inflammation and ultrasonic debridement can be both valuable and comfortable.   This course is designed to enhance the knowledge and skill of oral health professionals as they are guided through the most current principles of ultrasonic instrumentation.  With the use of a camera, the course facilitator with provide a “live” visual experience that will offer the opportunity for participants to practice and develop their ultrasonic debridement technique.  Participants will use a variety of ultrasonic inserts, typodonts and manikins as they are guided through the process of insert selection, strategic insert sequencing and insert adaptation.  Join us for a highly progressive, unique workshop that will you meet the demands of today’s non-surgical periodontal therapy!
