Continuing Your Journey in Dental Hygiene

rdhu is Canada's first hands-on dental hygiene continuing education centre dedicated to teaching and engaging Registered Dental Hygienists. Through this web site and hands-on dental hygiene continuing education programs at our state-of-the-art facility, rdhu is working to improve the personal and professional fulfillment of the dental hygiene profession.

Our goal is to re-invigorate the passion and enthusiasm that sometimes diminishes when we as hygienists stop learning with the level of interest and commitment we should.

rdhu was founded in 2008 by two leaders in dental hygiene continuing education in response to the two most common challenges expressed by Registered Dental Hygienists: portfolio management and finding quality hands-on continuing education. Kathleen Bokrossy, RDH, owns and operated D-Sharp Dental and Susanne Currie heads P&G Professional Oral Health in Canada. After meeting in 2008 and discussing trends in dental hygiene, it took no time at all to realize that this was the chance to do something that would help all hygienists improve and grow.

Our unique 'tell, show, do' training philosophy ensures that, over time, so much more will be retained and used in comparison to many correctional courses.

Thanks to the generous support and positive feedback of Registered Dental Hygienists across Canada, organized dental hygiene, and our sponsors, the rdhu vision has new become a reality with the launch of our 2009 program for hands-on dental hygiene continuing education, online continuing education and simplified portfolio management.
